One of my favorite things to do at SHOT is to look for products that haven’t been out before and brand new companies.
I am not usually too excited about back packs. I know they are a fundamental part of any pack trip and many hunting trips but I usually just don’t seek them out at SHOT Show to get all skippy over
I was sort of lost and looking for a certain knife booth when I walked by a nicely appointed booth with a bunch of packs. Ok, whoopie… But what caught my eye were the little yellow bow looking thingies on the packs and also how high tech and well thought out they appeared.
I stopped to get a closer look and figure out what the yellow things were. I was approached by a really nice fella…sorry nice fella I forgot your name and didn’t grab your card….BUT said nice fella was VERY excited about his products! He patiently went through EVERY facet of these packs and the more he showed me the more interested I got!

Mr. Jay Robert developed these packs and they are launching at the SHOT Show this year. I was introduced to him and he explained to me that he wants to help hunters go further and that he doesn’t plan to launch anything unless it is thoroughly tested and perfect for the needs in the field.
Jay even labeled the compartments so there is NO searching for things and pockets are used correctly for the best distribution of weight.
WHO thinks of this stuff? Well apparently Jay Robert and it is a good thing he does!
