I just wanted to let everybody know that we have a new image at the top of the blog here. Hope you all like the 2 bucks battling it out just after dusk. Also we have added to our template at the very top (in the middle) a place for people to advertise using their banners. We will provide a link from your banner back to your website.
We have been wanting to do this for a while but we feel now is a good time to start. This will be a win/win situation for everybody and we look forward to it.
We will only allow banners that are 468×60 to be placed. The reason being is we had to “tweak” the template in order to fit the banners and make it look halfway decent. So we can’t have different size images. 468×60 is a standard size used often in online marketing and advertising. Plus they are large enough so people can see them and will fit nicely in our template. Here is an example of the exact size:
How it will work is basically all banners will take turns appearing at the top of the page. When you open a new page another banner will possibly appear. So if any of you are interested in advertising with us please send us an email at ads@blackbearblog.com.
Rates:
We will be running the ads on a monthly basis. The way it works is the more time you get, the cheaper it gets per month. We accept PayPal payments, Checks, or Money Order at this time.
1 month: $25
6 months: $120
12 months: $220
The Black Bear Blog sees over 1 million hits per month.
We also have other advertising packages that appear on our left sidebar that you can check out as well.
All proceeds go towards hosting costs, and continuing to make the Black Bear Blog a great resource for hunters and fishermen all across North America.
