The Idaho Fish and Game Commission in January passed a resolution to prohibit the use of “inline” muzzle loading rifles during the muzzle loading deer season, saying that the “flintlock” style weapons were what they believed should be used. This angered many hunters who use the more modern inline guns. Through emails, letters and petitions, they have sought to have that ruling overturned. IDFG officials will take another look at this for the 2008 season.
