PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is known to any sane individual as an extremist organization made up of mostly people whose picnic baskets aren’t quite full – of celery sticks and rice cakes. Our world of hunting and fishing is always being challenged by the group and other animal rights organizations. I have always said that the best way to deal with these groups is to just expose them for what they really are.

The latest campaign of PETA is another over the top insane event. Jesus was a vegetarian they say and they have taken an Airstream trailer and converted it to portray the last supper with Jesus sitting in the middle and on either side he is surrounded by some of the world’s more famous vegetarians, according to World Net Daily.

The vegetarian “disciples” represented in the “Last Supper” include the famed Louisa May Alcott, Kafka, George Bernard Shaw, Cesar Chavez, Susan B. Anthony, Jesus, Alec Walker, Paul McCartney, k.d. lang, Gandhi, Einstein and Leonardo Da Vinci, officials said.

“From all the demonstrations, this one has been the most successful in getting people to go vegetarian,” he told WND. “People are visibly moved by the display itself.”

“I’ve had people telling me they’re going to be re-evaluating their food choices and lives after seeing the display,” he said.

Running the risk of being chastised by PETA for using this expression, “Birds of a feather, flock together”, all I have to say is these people are absolutely insane. I think in the book of Matthew somewhere it says that Jesus instructed his disciples to go into all the world and teach the people how to become vegetarians.
