I am sorry that I have not been better at responding to all of your comments. I had to leave this morning around 10 a.m and just returned. My former neighbor and his wife, in their 80s, needed some work done on their home, damage from termites etc., so I told them I would give them a few hours of my time to help them out. Sorry!

Thank you all for your concerns. For most of you that know me, I would not publish this information if I didn’t have good reason to believe it were true. I must also say that I have not written all the information I have about this case either. There will be follow-up stories.

As I said in the article, I have no ax to grind and I take absolutely no pleasure in doing this. This goes beyond my scope of my journalism desires but I feel so upset by this that this story must be told. The people of Idaho must know and all Americans must be made aware of the kind of people there are today promoting their agendas.

After reading your article I honestly feel that I can say those men involved are not true sportsmen. To even mention a public scare can be considered grounds to be arrested by the Home Land Security as terrorism. It is people like that who give the real sportsmen a bad name. To have a conversation like that is just plain wrong and to have it in a public place is even more distressing because it shows they just don’t care.

I guess I would want more facts on the issue. Too much “he said/she said”. A photo like Erin said or some other proof would move this story further. Not that I doubt any of it for a minute, I just think we need more facts.

I find this truly distressing that “one of our own” would turn on us like that. I have friends in Idaho, all long time residents and hunters. I will post a link to your blog on another forum as well as PM them and get their input as to what is happening. It is with mixed feelings that I seek to corroborate your story, and “John’s.”
