Microsoft and owner Bill Gates have set up a program where users of their instant messaging software can elect to donate money to the Humane Society of the United States. This could potentially yield them millions of dollars.

You can read the entire press release by visiting the New England Outdoor Voice. You are encouraged to contact Bill Gates and tell him that he and his company should not be sponsoring extreme over the top organizations like HSUS.

Most outdoorsfolk aren’t very savvy with computers, this is one of the few times I can say that’s unfortunate.

Easy to use alternatives are becoming available though, I recommend taking a look at “Ubuntu” [ http://www.ubuntu.com ] for starters. You can burn it to a CD and do a test run from there without actually installing.

If there’s such a thing as hitting Microsoft in the pocketbook, it’s the only way to get them to change their mind. It took Fox a long time to realize that promoting anti hunting/trapping/fishing ads cost them more money than they made from the ads.

HSUS is after anybody who has contact with animals, (hunters, farmers, entertainers, pet owners, etc…).We, exotic animal owners, issued REXANO, http://www.rexano.org, press release on May 23, 2007 regarding MS/HSUS connection.

We all are in this together, we have a common enemy, animal rights (AR) freaks, and we have to stick together fighting for and protecting each other rights and freedoms.

In addition to campaign against MS/HSUS connection, we also have a campaign against Bank of America (BOFA), since they have been helping HSUS since last year with their HSUS card, where they donate 25 cents out of every 100 dollars BOFA customers spend, so contact BOFA and MS and ask them to get educated before committing to extremist animal rights groups who want to remove steaks form their tables and leather chairs form their offices and fancy cars.
