The state of New Jersey moved one step closer in taking complete control over its people and further asserting its will on the innocent people of that state. The Assembly voted 51-25 to pass a bill that would limit the number of handguns anyone can buy to one per month. What idiots!
“I personally can see no reason why anyone would want to go out and buy guns in multiples,” said Quigley, D-Hudson.
Joan Quigley is the bill’s sponsor. The question I have is what in the hell does it matter to Ms. Quigley whether she can think of a reason or not. I can’t think of a reason why any sane woman would go out and buy 65 pairs of shoes. She does have a right to do that and I have the same right to buy up every gun in the world if I should so choose.
And what’s worse is people like this think this will curb crime and stem violence. Listen to what the writer of an article on the ABC Action News 6 in Philadelphia website wrote.
The proposal comes with New Jersey increasingly concerned about gun crimes, particularly from street gangs.
Are there this many ignorant people in the world that believe that any law passed to limit guns will cause any gang member to blink an eye? They think these thugs, crooks and gangsters are nice guys or what?
Personally, I like this response.
“Rationing firearms to responsible citizens to reduce gun crime makes about as much sense as rationing knives to restaurant-goers to reduce stabbings,” said Scott L. Bach, president of the New Jersey Association of Rifle and Pistol Clubs – the National Rifle Association’s state organization.
