Two contracted employees of the Maple Leaf Forestry Consulting in Cranbrook, B.C., were out surveying roads in Southeastern British Columbia, when they were attacked by a grizzly bear. It was pepper spray that provided them a chance to escape but not before quite a battle and one person suffering from arm and leg bites.
