San Francisco’s famed Golden Gate Park was the scene of an attack by two coyotes on a woman’s dog over the weekend. This was the second such attack and officials decided the kill the two coyotes. A necropsy will be performed.
According to ABC7News.com there are quite a few coyotes taking up residence in the Bay Area.
There are a handful of coyotes still roaming San Francisco — McClaren Park, Bernal Heights and the Presidio. Animal control officers say use common sense, don’t feed the animals and keep garbage containers shut.
And as one might expect, the decision to kill the two coyotes didn’t go over well with area pet owners.
