Cool pictures, but I'm with those who think that moose might be tame. That was my first thought when I saw the pictures.

Well looking at the color of the doors and the style it is, along with the concrete slab for steps. Mix that with the birch tree. Then you look behind the moose in the last picture, there is a garden or some bed of grass with a wooden perimeter.

Also check out the windows and the shutters with the flower beds underneath.

I take all those factors and mix them together and would say New Hampshire sometime in the last 8 years. ;)

TV 5 out of Boston says it's NH http://www.thebostonchannel.com/slideshow/entertainment/13564751/detail.html

I've seen a lot of different places given credit for these so who knows. My bet is somewhere in Alaska

Albert - That's what happens when these pics go around.

Unfortunately seeing them in front of someone's house isn't a replication of real life moose sighting here in Maine. My guess is these pictures somehow depict a tame or semi-tame moose. It is not normal for a new mother moose to hang out in front of one's house after a newborn.

Interesting set of pictures. We don't see anything like that down here in Arkansas, just deer, wild turkeys, and an occasional gator. Not that I've seen any, but one made it into the local newspaper a while back.
