The L.A. Times has a short snippet this morning saying that the Mexican government is asking the U.S. to change its plans of building a fence because it may effect animals. Instead they want to build bridges and such done in a way so as to “be less attractive to smugglers”.

Let’s get this right. The Mexican government wants most of their people to go to the U.S. and make American dollars and ship them back to Mexico and we should listen to their recommendations? These illegals are currently destroying the ecological systems that support all of these animals they say need protecting, yet they have no interest in addressing that problem.

And we must remember that when illegals come into this country, they consider areas that are “less attractive” to cross the border. Please!

This is my first visit, and Im liking very much what I see. I do note however that you have no link to Range magazine to the Taking liberty website or to wolfcrossing.org.(If indeed they are listed, just chalk it up to blind and slow) I think your readers might find all of these worthwile.
We are in the southern end of the Gila Nat. Forest. Wolves here are becoming a real public safety problem. So much so that the residents of Reserve N.M. have deemed it wise to build wolf proof shelters for their children to await the school bus. It is amazing to me that most rural people of either coast are aware of the workings of the green groups with the anti gun groups and the UN, yet when an urbanite is told of these issues, he looks at you like you have three heads. It begs the Question: Is the mainstream media just blind? or are they in on the deal?” It also makes painfully clear that rural people, of which there are still enough of to turn any election, are not doing nearly enough to make a stand. Anyway, count on me to be a regular reader.

Frank – You are only partially blind and a bit slow. I have a link to Wolf Crossing and I am kept up to date quite often from the wonderful folks over there.

However, I do not have a link to Range Magazine or Taking Liberty but I am gandering at the sites now. If I like what I see, I’ll link them up soon.
