Room full of Empty ChairsI don’t know who’s afraid of the wolf but it seems apparent that the citizens of Wyoming don’t much care about it anymore. The state has been holding public meetings to gather input on the revised, revised, revised, revised, wolf management plan, and hardly anybody is making an appearance. After three meetings, 27 people total have shown up, according to the Jackson Hole Star-Tribune and the final meeting is today in Cody.

Perhaps the masses feel the same as I do. Taking the time and spending the money and effort to put forth yet another wolf management plan, all so that Wyoming can be included as one of the states where the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to remove the wolf from the Endangered Species list. All of this while we’re staring down the barrel of yet another lawsuit by animal rights groups.

And of course this is exactly what those groups wanted. Once the majority becomes fed up with entire process, enviros will just step in and once again have their way.

Business as usual.
