Santa and His ReindeerOver thirty states in American prohibit the importation of elk, deer, caribou (reindeer) and moose because of the threat of the spread of chronic wasting disease. It is believed that a summit was held recently of the governors of all those states banning importation in order to lift that restriction for one day.

Beginning at noontime today and running until noon time on Christmas Day, that restriction has been lifted in order that any flying reindeer can legally enter and leave the state without fear of legal reprisals. Children and families all across America should be thankful for such an action but the governors are asking any kids who might suspect chronic wasting disease in any of their presents tomorrow morning to contact authorities immediately.
