Below are the results of the latest of the Black Bear Blog unscientific, very biased poll about the Endangered Species Act. A resounding 54% of Black Bear Blog readers say the ESA was good when it was written but it is being abused and manipulated. Of course we don’t know to what degree they think these things but needless to say, they agree that something is not right.

Another 10% or 45 respondents say it needs some changes while 19% (83) say toss it in the garbage.

Hard to believe 58% think it’s great. Shows howmany people walk this earth with blinders on.
I quess with the eagles It has been great, But name me some other species that have made a come back?–Must be some, I just can’t think of any.
As for the rst of the program It’s a tool for the ANTI crowd end hunting and trapping and fishing and land access.
If anyone in Maine things that the lynx is endangered, Trust me you need to get out more!

Thinking today about what other animals the ESA has helped and All I could think of was that It probably had helped the whales.
If it prints here’s a map and some info on lynx. Shows how foolish it was to add the lynx to the ESA. It was only done through the threat of a lawsuit. Before that the feds saw no reason to list the lynx as the US was on the bottom of their range.
