		<description>I agree. Much of the money used in fish and game departments is used for programs that really are geared toward the general population. Therefore general tax dollars should pay for that.

When an observation platform is built in the middle of a swamp for wildlife viewing, that should be paid for and maintained with general tax dollars or via use permits, or a license similar to a hunting or fishing license.

Combining everything together into a blended mish-mash of programs is really a bad idea.</description>

Maybe if agencies got away from search and rescue, ATV and snowmobile enforcement, then more license and fee money could go to focus on managing fish and wildlife.
