		<description>This is an interesting post because it just so happens that I am too an eosinophilic esophagitis sufferer since my birth. The foods I am allergic to are raw onions, garlic and pepper among a few other spicy foods. In the 50â€™s very little to nothing was known about this condition and my parents literally had to try by trial and error what I could and couldnâ€™t eat.

As I get older it seems the condition has somewhat grown out, or the body has built up a certain resitsance,  since I am now able to eat a very small amount of raw onions and other aggravating foods without the fear of suffocating which usually also involves a mad dash to the nearest hospital.
