51 U.S. Senators signed a letter that was sent to Dirk Kempthorne, Secretary of the Interior, requesting that the restrictions on guns in National Parks be amended to allow people the right to have guns accessible for protection. Secretary Kempthorne addressed that signed letter in a letter to Senator Mike Crapo of Idaho, who sponsored the letter.
