When I pull up my swivel chair in front of my computer screen in the mornings and open up my mail box, I never know what I might find. This morning I had quite an array of photos. I picked two that I thought to be interesting and also quite different from each other to share. I don’t think either needs a caption as I believe the photo says it all.

Some dogs don’t know when to say “enough”!
Glad I didn’t have to pull those quills out! That’s going to take awhile…
We’ve got a lot of eagles down here in Fla., and three years ago, after the lakes dried up, the eagles fed on all the fish that got stranded, and I saw that many on the shore, feeding on the dead fish. But, this year, I saw a “monster” eagle, which was feeding on a deer I had shot but never recovered, and he was a third larger than the size of all the others I have ever seen! I never knew there could have been eagles larger than the normal size. Turkeys have larger sizes, for a fact, but I never noticed other birds being giants!

I have a 140# Rott that looked like that last year. It took me 2 hours to pull most of the Quills and then an hour at the vets to cut the quills out of his mouth. It cost $200 at the vet, but he did kill porky.

My Rott looked like that last year, it took 2 hours to pull them, and he had to be put out to get the quills out of his mouth. He did bring the porkypine up to the house the next day.
