This is too funny and even though I just got back from being away for the day and have tons of more important things to get done, I had to share what happened. I think it’s a hoot!
I had to travel over to Plant City this morning, about 50 miles east of where I am, and meet up with my good friend and chief photographer, Milt Inman. We went to the Plant City Strawberry Festival Parade this afternoon. It was so nice to be outside in the delightful breezes and warm sunshine and take in all the events of the parade.
Near the end of the parade there was a small truck pulling a trailer that was decorated up in support of presidential hopeful John McCain. Sitting in the front of the trailer and sporting a large sign over her head that read, “Vote for John McCain”, was a young attractive woman with a big smile.
She looked in my direction – happenstance – and I yelled to her, “Where’s John?”
She lowered her sign a bit and gave me a puzzled look and asked, “Who’s John?”
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
