These are pretty remarkable photographs of which I have very little information. Can’t find anything on Snopes or Truth or Fiction. This is the caption that came with the photos.

“This is Brooks Falls just upstream from where the Brooks River flows into Naknek Lake in the Katami National Monument, Alaska. Have you ever seen a Wolf fish for salmon?”

Real? Photo Shopped? Got any info?

Those photographs are completely real and the only Photoshoping that was done was to crop and adjust color. I know this because I am the photographer who took the photos. The wolf actually caught 15 salmon in just over an hour. I have a series of photos for each of the 15 catches. These pictures you have here were published in the Anchorage Daily News and the Seattle Times. It was an amazing thing to see and it is a completely real and accurate presentation of what happened that day at Brooks Falls in Katmai NP.

Heck yes, thanks mister, I believed it . I wonder if the wolf is bothered by the same bacteria as domestic dogs that get sick from Salmon and Steelhead.. I know if not tended to the domestic dogs die from this…
