Hi Tom,
Just wanted to let you know that I have been out with Gary quite a bit lately and we have yet to see any Mudrunt activity this year. Quite possible that this harsh winter has affected their numbers. We’ll keep looking and let you know if we find anything!

Perhaps we should consider notifying the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and get this creature protected. God only knows its ecological value. It has to be at least as important as Punxatawny Phil!!
