For those who haven’t seen it yet, Time Magazine put the below picture as their front cover. Is this to the point of sacrilege or do you think this accurately depicts our efforts we face to stop global warming?

My personal opinion is that this cover is an insult to those who really have fought for freedom. I think we should take care of our world, but much of what is accused is simply unsubstantiated and without any fact to back it up.

The sacrifices made by true soldiers fighting for freedom are so much greater than anything in the “environmental movement” that comparison is futile.

However, free speech allows them the right to make such a stupid comparison!

Not to sidestep the whole issue of whether or not the picture is disrespectful, but I just had to comment on the design of the cover. It looks like a badly Photoshopped photo that someone did on their home computer. Shouldn’t Time have better designers and artwork than that?
