I am not Buggsy for oil. Yes, I know, and Alaska has been producing oil for years, and I imagine that there is enough there to power this country for 10-20 yrs, but speaking of the coast of Florida, in the Gulf, which is close to home for me, is of MY major concern...MY neighbor's backyard! The fact is, there could be drilling there, too, IF enough safeguards were built into the agreements. But with big money comes big greed, and don't count on much in the way of safeguards, with big greed. Maybe we, as a country, like the sleeping giant we are, need a monster kick in the ass, which is what the gas prices are doing....this is what it takes to bring change...and correction! And an oil independancy! And it's gotta hurt! Are you Fudding me, ar? I am not Buggsy for oil.
Yes, I know, and Alaska has been producing oil for years, and I imagine that there is enough there to power this country for 10-20 yrs, but speaking of the coast of Florida, in the Gulf, which is close to home for me, is of MY major concern…MY neighbor’s backyard! We need to stop urban sprawl which forces us to drive for everything and start realizing that 'sharing a ride' with someone is NOT unpatriotic or un-American. Just my two cents.
