Dan, a.k.a. Moose, at Moose Droppings, is reporting that two deadly cobra snakes may have been released somewhere in Onslow County, North Carolina. It seems the group is trying to push legislation to ban ownership of exotic animals and authorities suspect members of this group released the snakes to create a scare and influence public opinion.

Moose is calling it an act of terrorism and I think I agree.

I hope they don’t label me a terrorist for turning loose all the rattlesnakes I catch, on my back forty, where they are out of harms way of people who are just scared of any snakes…much less rattlers. Caught one last year that went to seven foot one. I like to have something around that keeps me on my toes. Keeps a little danger in the woods like a bear or gator…otherwise it life can get pretty tame! Seems like a lot of people want to sterilize the woods. Take all the danger out and then get bored, jerks…
