Grand Mesa was one of their sites for release from what I've read. I lived and hunted on the mesa for many years and sure hate to see this happen. According to my friends that still live there the big mulies are making a come back and the elk herds are great, good bulls and good cow/calf ratios. My old hunting buddies tell me to come back and get in on some of the big mulies before it's to late. Western colorado was a great place to live before all the greenies found out about it. Now they've found north Idaho too, Now I don't know where to move.Guess there's no way to get away from the anti everything crowd so we better start getting a little stubborn. The anti-hunters in NJ want to end all hunting in the state, as well as the rest of the country. One way that they are trying to end hunting & fishing is by enacting laws that will change the composition of the NJ Fish & Game Council. However, they are finding things more difficult because NJ outdoorsman now have a voice in Trenton - the New Jersey Outdoor Alliance. If you want to protect your outdoor heritage and stop the spread of the anti-hunting movement before it leaves NJ, please donate to the NJOA. I live and hunt in NJ.
