Stuck On Stupid

I guess that puts us in the same boat, Tom…..or maybe a couple of reliquaries…

You know I hate to sound like a loser, downer type but if somebody can give me a reason to feel more optimistic about this election, I’m all ears.

Maybe some readers would be better served if I spent my time writing rah, rah, rah and let’s go team but until I see a bigger movement by the voters to stand up and demand something better, it’s business as usual.

People have asked why the efforts to expose Obama as being chummy with Ayers, Rezko, Wright et. al. I think the answer is simple. It’s much the same as when Slick Willy was getting serviced in the Oval Office. I think most people could picture themselves getting serviced or being serviced.

Many if not most of Obama’s supporters all grew up in Ayers day, the anti-Vietnam war, anti-establishment, dope smoking crowd. They look at Ayers as being nobody different than themselves and don’t really care that someone tries to pin that on Obama.

The only hope we’ve got is Palin, in my opinion….and she is going to take more heat before the shindig is over…But just on the off chance that Mc gets the election, maybe that banana peel could land right under the next step…At least we know what kind of changes he has in mind! Just consider the alternatives………………….

Do you think Sarah should drop the “H” word? I wonder what the result of using his full name would be?

I don’t like hearing defeatists talk. I’m already looking for replacement politicos to fill my tick come November. I have already crossed off the “YES VOTERS” They have to have a good gun voting record. Then I know the rest of their values will be close to mine.

We can only hope that more Republican politicians will follow Sarah Palin’s valiant lead in defending the traditional values and principles shared by the less than vociferous (out for themselfs Cowards) center-right majority in this nation.

They must quit knuckling under to the opportunistic demonization of achievement, profit and free-market forces. They must resist the patronizing pandering to “the middle class.” They must oppose environmental Stalinists, who will destroy our way of life and our economy based on false, sensationalized and disputed science and who demonize anyone who challenges their orthodoxy.

They must call down those who insist on pooh-poohing the terrorist threat and downplaying the essential moral distinction between the forces of good and evil in the world. They must protect our borders despite the dishonest charges of racism and nativism. They must protect our Constitution from activist judges.

Now is not the time for conservative politicians to go wobbly, even if some conservative commentators are. It is the time to fight back — to challenge the fundamental assumptions of liberalism and to underscore the threat it represents to this country.

So keep it up, Sarah, and maybe others will follow your courageous example. Give us a reason to and we will come running!!

The failure of Republicans to impose the rule of law on the cheaters, liars and manipulators allows those who use Alinsky’s corrupt system to win. That fact tells us that the voting process means as little to our elites as does the Constitution.

Because of that fact, Republicans will lose future elections. More importantly, the people of the United States will lose.

The RNC and the GOP leadership just don’t get it. Otherwise they would care enough to do something about it.

How Catholic Money Funded Obama’s Community Organizing

One of the untold stories in the Obama campaign is how his background in community organizing has direct links to Catholic funding — from the Catholic Campaign for Human Development of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. (web site)

Catholic journalist Stephanie Block has been writing about the CCHD for many years, but it has been difficult to stimulate any serious concern about their funding the innocuous sounding activity of “community development.” Innocuous or not, Obama years as a community organizer were supported, in part, by Catholic money dispersed by the USCCB.

Barak Obama – was lead organizer in Chicago for the Developing Communities Project, it received a $40,000 Catholic Campaign for Human Development grant in 1985 and a $33,000 grant in 1986.

While he was in Chicago Obama was trained by the top Alinskyian organizers. One mentor was the ex-Jesuit, Greg Galuzzo, lead organizer for Gamaliel. The Developing Communities Project operated under the Gamaliel Foundation, a network of Alinskyian organizations that receive 4-5% of all Catholic Campaign for Human Development grants each year.

The Developing Communities Project, which hired Obama as lead organizer, was an offshoot of Jerry Kellman’s Calumet Community Religious Conference. Kellman, another of Obama’s mentors, was himself trained by Alinsky. The network of community organizations Alinsky founded, the Industrial Areas Foundation, receives about 16% of all Catholic Campaign for Human Development grants annually.
