I believe it was a reader here at the Black Bear Blog that made a feeble attempt to smear the McCain/Palin campaign duo by showing how their speeches and rallies were inciting their followers to violence. One would have to be a total idiot to not acknowledge the fact that at some of their rallies, a handful of zealots got out of control and yelled things quite inappropriate.
The media however is quite guilty of embellishing the stories in order to carry out their agenda of getting Obama, their messiah, elected. Little did we hear about John McCain telling those in one crowd that their behavior was unacceptable.
Being a total idiot is one thing but being a blinded, biased idiot who refuses to see the whole story is completely inexcusable.
Warning!!! Michelle Malkin is a woman – for those who seem to have a problem with women in places of authority. Today, Malkin’s column addresses the other side of the story that the media refuses to report – the out-of-control rage so wonderfully displayed by the left.
Malkin displays a shopping list of events that have taken place that never get reported by the media and yet also shares the comments and reactions from the media on the few isolated accounts that have transpired at McCain’s campaign events. One reporter went so far as to ask VEEP hopeful, Joe Biden, if he was concerned for the safety of Barack Obama.
Maybe if one were to take the time to examine what’s really going on out there, the same could certainly be asked about John McCain and Sarah Palin.
Of course some on the left deem it acceptable behavior to exercise their First Amendment right to wear a T-shirt that reads, “Sarah Palin is a C***”, or to proclaim during a concert tour that “I’m going to kick her ass”, in referring to Sarah Palin. Let’s also include the ever inciting array of artwork.
Malkin’s list is small actually. Here in Florida a man used full-sized cutouts of Obama and McCain and mounted them on his front lawn. The two are displayed in a way that shows McCain chasing Obama across the front lawn. You might want to know what’s so bad about that? McCain is dressed in KKK garb. The man says it’s his Halloween decoration. By the way, where’s the outrage from the black community on this?
For a more complete look at more rage-inciting events, Malkin at her blog, also posts up videos, artwork and events going back from the beginning, most of which none of us have ever heard of or seen.
I have no problem with anyone pointing out when McCain supporters act like idiots. What I have a problem with is when that same someone refuses to look at all sides and reports them accordingly.
