When I was in Maine recently on a deer hunting trip, one of the guys who came to camp had a variety of headlamps. Here’s an example of one:
He also had similar lights like this that instead of a headband, you can get them that clip right onto the visor of your hat. Not only that but you could get them in various colors, i.e. red and green. I’ve read where the green can be used in the dark to get into your tree stand before daylight and you won’t spook deer and red helps track wounded deer.
