Hat Tip to Michelle Malkin
Lawyers around the globe are seeking to form an international court whose authority it will be to police the global environment and doll out fines and punishments for not adhering to strict environmental laws that some expect to be passed at the next U.N. Climate Change Conference.
Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister, has agreed the concept of an international court will be taken into account when considering how to make these international agreements on climate change binding. The court is also backed by a number of MPs, climate change experts and public figures including the actress Judi Dench.
Actress Judi Dench??
Dame Judith Olivia Dench, CH, DBE, FRSA, (born 9 December 1934), known as Judi Dench, is an English actress. She has won nine BAFTAs, seven Laurence Olivier Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, an Academy Award, two Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award.
And don’t forget James Bond movies! That must carry some serious weight in the environmental community.
Well, that pretty much settles it for me. I’m cashing in everything I own in order to promote this Global Court of Goons so they can cram their environmentalism horse excrement down my throat because an actress supports it.
And for this ridiculous bit of information, I award the Black Bear Blog Golden Horse Excrement award to Louise Gray, Environment Correspondent for the Telegraph for having the nerve to offer the support of an actress as reason to support global thuggery.
