*Thanks to reader Brian for the News tip*
From WCVB-TV in Boston, a liquor store clerk in Worcester, Mass. took care of business at about 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday night, peppering a would-be robber full of holes from his gun. The robber was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital and his accomplice is still at large.
This past Sunday I reported that robbers where shot at by a store owner in St. Petersburg, Florida and reporters kept asking if the store owner was going to be charged in the shooting with little regard for the capture and prosecution of the robbers.
At least to this point, reporters for WCVB aren’t asking.
Police did not immediately release the name of the clerk although they said he was properly licensed to possess and carry firearms.
The worker was taken to police headquarters to be interviewed. He was not charged.
Properly licensed? Hmmmmm.
