Well, Ya know I had this thought, I entered this debate under immature pretenses and for that I will accept al the backlash that comes with it and I have to say I have been blown away by the responses as of late, some of them are actually well said and wether you agree with my lifestyle or not I do appreciate an intelligent conversation. Regardless though of how the debate rages on I will always stand up for animal rights no matter what regardless of how other people see it. And @ Harley, i really dont care if people try to tell me how to live or not. If someone could show me the real benefits of nutrition and conservation by eating meat Id gladly change my ways. But until then that super food known as Broccoli will do me great, all the protein of meat and no heart disease or cancer ( and thats even with all natural organic meat) @MikeL thanks for the apology and I dug your post except you think I dont get it, as If I came to this lifestyle or these opinions by just reading a book. I grew up around hunting and meat eating for my whole life in very rural NY state I saw how the other side lived and see it as not just a ruin to my own body and spirit but to the planets so unfortunatley hate me or not agree or not Im standing up for the animals and the planet we call our home. In the words of Temple Grandin, “Nature is cruel we don’t have to be, we grow these animals for food not nature so let’s show them some respect” The ironic part is that she then created a more humane way to slaughter cattle, haha oh well c’est la vie! Sorry about the mix up, thought you were male.
Either way hunting animals to me is about way more than just killing something. We still hunt to fill the freezer and for the last couple of years without elk and deer I don’t know what we would of done. I can honestly say that no one loves animals as much or more than true outdoorsmen. I can and have watched elk, deer, moose, bears, coyotes etc. etc. etc and never once thought about killing them. Unless you’ve grown up around or have been introduced to the real values of hunting and the outdoors you and people like you will never get it.

Ooo… I started this post many times over and then decided, nah…. Greg put it pretty darn good. I think that’s the heart of all the debates. There are people out there who think they know a better way for you to live your life and by golly, they are going to make sure you see it their way, no matter what the cost.
Depending on what Mountain top you wish to get to, there are many paths to get there. One may be longer, but hey, some like the scenic route.
The point is, live your life how you think is best. And let others live their life the same. I doubt you would like someone coming in telling you you’re full of horse manure for your thoughts and beliefs.

Ok Dunja, let’s back up a bit and then rethink this discussion, here is your entrance into our little blogging community below,

Humans killing animals is wrong and that is what this American and many other Americans think, so speak for yourself dumbasses!!! ”

What we all are doing, myself included is finding ways to attack individuals personal identity’s, how they were taught, raised, and based on geographic area we all were trained if you will very differently from one another.. So when some one comes along and wants to lower the bar, or raise the bar of intellectual debate or animal like reactions, i can play along.. After all blogging is mostly entertainment..

That said i differ with you opinions concerning the causes of obesity, now meats are involved for sure, BUT, are you forgetting the chemical additives in every thing we consume, those chemical additives not only change bodily functions, probably from birth, but also cause mind control types of brain damage into the mass community causing them to buy into dogmas they are fed rather than personally researched out independently.. So I what i am saying is meats naturally grown and organic are not going to cause obesity, along with a natural healthy diet of fruits and vegetables, proper juicing, proper non fluoridated water intake, and of course flushing ones body with proper fasting techniques..

Now I do these things, of course I get called names when sharing these personal habits of mine. Yes, I hunt, I fish, I grow my 1000 square foot garden, at 5000′ elevation no less, and i enjoy a wonderful organic eating lifestyle far from the toxic waste pushed in the markets which the mass sheople of society have come to depend on, and which will suddenly be taken away from them at the conclusion of this falling economical paper and ink empire crumbling around us..

You must try and understand that most of humanity – mankind has been sabotaged by the elitist wanting to control it all, thus they use Con Men to get the dumb sheople to go along with their plots.. CON-GRESS-MEN… CON MEN… Come on girl, it is so obvious.. What you are doing is attacking and independent way of life.. Once the hunting is taken from us, the garden will become the next evil thing they will need to remove from us.. And their working on it right now, all those organic food shops getting busted these days by those black booted Federal thugs marching into them with those machine guns and them court orders… Hey that Raw Milk is dangerous now, how about these sprouted almonds over here, oh those nasty little things are deadly to, yep and that hemp seed, enemy number one ya know..

The clap trap against humans by the human haters never ends..

Greg, how is it you see me as a cave dweller? You are correct man did fight his way to top of the food chain because we had to in order to survive, there is nothing about survival in contemporary factory farming nowadays in fact its the opposite. Factory farming and meat consumption is the number one cause of obesity, heart disease and soil erosion which allows for destructive winds to devastate huge masses of land and are turning the middle of our great country into the next sahara desert. The United States has the worlds largest underground naturally made reservoir of its kind and will be gone in less then 80 years and it took millions to make and in the end will only have taken 100 to destroy just so that over 10 billion animals ( that are being created by man not nature) can be fattened for the slaughter. Once the reservoir is gone the land will dry up and our school children will fight obesity and lead short painful lives and the myth of protein intake that the meat industry propagates will keep people buying into their lies. I actually have nothing against hunting and eating your own food but I have never met an american who soley relies on that type of skill for all their food, most people I have met hunt as pleasure and then eat at McDonalds. I dont care what people do with their own lives but when we have stopped using reason, intellect and evolving past century old barbaric practices how are we any better then animals you say are less then us. At least the first real true Americans had respect for their land and their animal neighbors. It seems all the rest of the people who want to use grade school put downs on me are holding onto the cave days not me.
