Those are some big ones…Not what I’d like to have hunting around me in the dark…Hell, even coyotes are a little disparaging in the dark when they are howling close up and personal….I had what had to be a rabid bobcat screaming and following me through the thickets, about 4yrs.ago….That was really unnerving, since with every scream, he would get closer and closer…He had to be tracking me from scent, and getting close enough finally for me to climb up an old treestand, where I could see over the thickets, in case he decided to come up after me…Fortunately, he never did show, but I was still ready and on edge with my .30-30….He probable would have appreciated the easy and quick death I would have given him…

The only sad thing about this picture is that there are not 10 more dead wolves in the photo. Wolves kill for a living and for fun. Perhaps all the dead elk that wolves kill for fun and don’t eat should be posted. I have seen elk killed by wolves where they ate the liver and left the rest to rot and others where they werent even hungry enough to eat the liver , just killed and left. it is just to flipping easy for them to have fun killing another live one. They get into the elk wintering areas in the snow and kill, kill, kill. The domestic uneducated critics dont understand trying to keep in check the plague of wolves and by criticizing this thay are no friends of animals…they just think they are…legends in their own minds. This hunter deserves a medal and deserves our gratitude And respect and should have all his expenses paid by the state. In Idaho the state pays people to shoot them from helicopters and to trap them with snares and we are still loosing the battle to save our deer and elk and moose as the killers continue to multiply. Time for a serious bounty on these destroyers of wildlife. The state knows we are in serious trouble and upped the bag limit to five for 2012.
