Animal rights and &quot;tree huggers&quot; are better organized and better funded and are always playing offense and we are stuck in defense with no organization or money. Little by little we are trying to change that.

		<description>I attended a wedding in San Diego this past June. I met a rancher from Idaho that shocked me with her information:
On their ranch, elk population down from 220 to 40 estimate.
Wolves have eaten the teats off the mother domestic cows leaving them alive, while killing and partially eating  the calves.
They have found partially eaten elk as well. Almost like the wolves kill for fun, not food.
I will try to get the rancher to take pictures.  My suggestion is to get them published on fox news to offset the tree huggers.  Would you agree with this strategy?  She also said DNR published an article in which they thought the wolf population was getting too heavy, and they should be controlled. (hunted) Within a week, their were many lawsuits by the huggers.  I could get more info on that too. Hank Kleis</description>
