The author of the below photographs (Big Brother Al) tells me that in this immediate area outside Anchorage, Alaska, there were as many as 15 to 20 moose bedded down and/or browsing.

Moose aren’t the only thing you see in Alaska. Oddly enough one surely doesn’t expect to come upon something like this in early March in Alaska, especially since the night before there were a reported 7 rollovers due to slippery roads……and going 65 mph.
