Ann Coulter’s column this week reeks of her expected direct approach to calling a kettle, errr…….arrrrr….let’s just say calling the kettle the color it really is. With a recent rash of gun violence, liberals began pounding their pragmatic pulpits demanding more gun control. Even the intelligentsia running the Brady Campaign Against Gun Violence demanded something be done, just like was done over tainted peanut butter. In Brady’s haste to be Hitleresque they forgot to ask the government to ban peanuts. Imagine the insanity in making the imitation peanut butter manufacturers change what was causing the poison instead of banning peanuts.
Coulter sees the liberals as they are on gun control.
Liberals tolerate rallies on behalf of cop-killers, but they prohibit law-abiding citizens working at community centers in Binghamton, N.Y., from being armed to defend themselves from disturbed, crack-addicted America-haters like Jiverly Wong.
It’s something in liberals’ DNA: They think they can pass a law eliminating guns and nuclear weapons, but teenagers having sex is completely beyond our control.
The demand for more gun control in response to any crime involving a gun is exactly like Obama’s response to North Korea’s openly belligerent act of launching a long-range missile this week: Obama leapt to action by calling for worldwide nuclear disarmament.
Should we expect Obama to leap into action and demand a gun-free America? I suspect we would have if he wasn’t already on record for lying to 300 million Americans when he wrongfully stated he supported the Second Amendment and the individual right to bear arms (no not like Michelle did when greeting the Browns in the UK during G20 wearing her tank top.)
That’s not his style at home. His style here is to stab a knife in your back as soon as you turn around. His style is to claim a “crisis on the verge of catastrophe” and then pass legislation when we are all asleep. His style would be to sign a bill to reenact an assault weapons ban, or make illegal to buy and sell ammunition, perhaps require we all take a test (too difficult to pass), then register yourself and your gun. Maybe he would even consider stopping the sale of military spent brass for reloading purposes. No, Obama finds those people in countries who already have no rights who will cheer gleefully when they hear him apologizing for America and wanting us to be just like them. That’s his style.
As he systematically works to gain as much executive power as is possible, some legal and some not, the rest of his aficionados, including our own hope and change media, are wooing the masses into believing this is what America needs.
It’s easy for Obama, right after he becomes the only American president ever to bow down to anyone, to call for a nuclear free planet. He knows nobody in those European crowds would be angered and insulted. But when the day comes that Barack Hussein Obama openly demands for a gun free America, he will experience an uprising in this country, perhaps like none other in history.
I do believe Obama fears that and that, my fellow freedom loving Americans, is the entire purpose of the Second Amendment. For without it tyranny would rule.
