I’ve been up that trail before..was some fantastic fishing in the Popo Agie, and the river goes under ground and resurfaces a mile or so down the canyon, that’s why its called sinks canyon..In the winter I used to take a flashlight and canteen and and climb down into the rivers cave, about a quarter mile or so..big caverns and the river trickling by.. The wilderness trail heads back there take you into some awesome country…Nice lakes and streams and beautiful landscapes to admire..occasional scratchings on the rocks by sheep eaters..
