This should come as no shock to anyone that the United States Supreme Court overturned Judge Sotomayer’s ruling in a Federal District Court that white Connecticut firefighters weren’t going to get an earned promotion because they were white. Sotomayor is Obama’s pick to fill the seat of outgoing Justice, David Sutter.
The Supreme Court ruled along what most would call party lines in a 5-4 vote. The four liberals on the bench, along with Justice Sutter, evidently believe that we don’t need qualified people to work in public safety jobs, only those who fill race agendas like Affirmative Action, etc.
