Not really! That’s not exactly the direction I’m headed. Very strong storms once again forced off the road earlier than I wanted but we are making steady progress. Should be home tonight sometime. We pulled off in Lumberton, NC – that’s very near the NC/SC border.

The morning looks bright and sunny – hazy and hot with a forecast of more t-storms this afternoon and tonight.

South Carolina still has to be the most wearisome part of the trip. Unless of course you happen to live there then you would be home. But for us less fortunate traveling through seems to take forever. This is just what I found from making the trip myself many times. Good Idea to get this part finished when your rested and fresh. Gee I guess their is NO MORE DROUGHT in Georgia. Be crying Too Much soon i suppose. Have they turned the taps back on for the water that runs to Florida??
