Well, sort of. At least one author does…..along with a laundry list of other wishes and wants. Unlike most of the drivel we get to hear from the environmentalists, I think this guy is actually being honest. He tells us what he thinks and why, which is more than most do. I certainly can’t agree with much of what he says, but I respect his candor without feeling the need to call hunters those “searching for their manhood“.

As a fellow Nature Conservancy employee, I’m ashamed to admit that I work for the same organization as Matt Miller. And i think what he posted was an entirely inappropriate use of TNC’s conservation blog.

Yeah, it’s really unfortunate that Matt seems to have a mind of his own and gets some of the real issues. What a shame. Certainly the NRC can’t bear to have such people in their organization.

I have a mind of my own as well, and I assure I understand the real issues. Wolf hunting simply is not necessary at this point in time. And mountain lion hunting sure as hell is not necessary.

Sure, and we’ll see how well you do going back in time to compete with predators for your meals one day soon perhaps..

The ESA is destroying 50% of this nations food resources which grow from the ground in California..

The fight is ongoing to remove sheep and cattle from public lands leases options, the wolves in fact are decimating another valuable resource which are ungulate herds, I live it, I see it..

Man had to compete with wild predators for food up until the time man conquered the predators and removed them to specific areas or kept their numbers in check with the eco systems and our resources..

You do not think for yourself, you think in reverse, you have been indoctrinated with backwards thinking, you might go hungry because of that thought process some day..

.. Wolves are fine in the Yukon, a wilderness the size of Texas.. Our rural back yards at the moment are over run with wolves..

Bow hunters the last five years bugle up wolves and cougars instead of elk..

I’ll post a blog shortly of a friend who did just that a couple days ago, bugled in a cougar..

The predators are starving here now, the wolves are infighting and killing one another, and killing cougars, bears..

Your mind think has caused the deaths of many predators.. Death is death, and your hands are not clean either..

serengeti, you need to get back to reality, its not what you think its what you know. and by the looks of your postings you don’t know anything about the wolves. wolves are getting way to over run thoughout north idaho. would you like to have a wolf in your back yard eating your dog.
