Yesterday when Maine Senator Olympia Snowe became the only republican to vote for the Baucus health care de”bill”cle, in her statements following the vote she said, “When history calls, history calls”. I’ve been asking myself for hours, “What does that mean”. I try to explain that and find it puzzling to quote Henry Wadsworth Longfellow to compare her “historic” event to art. Huh?
