The Coyotes in Elgin , Il show no fear of me unless I charge them then sat a distance and way and many times follow me. They have attacked many dogs in my area and killed some. I believe there may have been a second attack on some kids, but I don't recall the details. Large canids are large canids(dogs) and will attack if they think they can get away with it.
