It’s Settled! Obama’s “Restore Scientific Process” Means His Science

Climategate is the smoking gun. It is the biggest scandal to rock the scientific world since I don’t know when and everyone behind the con job are scrambling around to cover it up and pass it off as nothing more than a small group of scientists debating an issue. Sorry! That just doesn’t cut it anymore.

Earlier today we learned that the UN’s IPCC Climate guru, Rajendra Pachauri, said none of this leaked information would have any effect on the theory of Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW).

And now it appears the brain dead, repeat-after-me thugs at the White House press corp are pounding the same drum. According to Michelle Malkin, she says Robert Gibbs, White House press secretary, repeats pretty much what Pachauri mouthed earlier.

So now we have the final answer (yes, that’s my final answer) as to what Barack Obama meant back last March when he said he was going to “restore the scientific process to its rightful place”. Back then Obama seemed mostly to be referring to the Endangered Species Act.

By July, we had found out that Obama had appointed two whackos as his science and policy czars, Holdren and Sunstein, and we began to better understand Obama’s statement about whose science the President intended to “restore to its rightful place”.

If that isn’t quite enough to convince you that real science might not have a role in our society any longer, Malkin dug up another quote from Obama from back in March of 2009.

But let’s be clear: Promoting science isn’t just about providing resources — it’s also about protecting free and open inquiry. It’s about letting scientists like those who are here today do their jobs, free from manipulation or coercion, and listening to what they tell us, even when it’s inconvenient — especially when it’s inconvenient. It is about ensuring that scientific data is never distorted or concealed to serve a political agenda — and that we make scientific decisions based on facts, not ideology.

File that under lie number 2,385 of one of the promises Obama has made that he has not followed through on.

We now have it confirmed that what Obama meant about restoring science only pertained to his science and that of his fellow radicals. But people, this isn’t about science now is it? It’s really about control. Environmentalism at work, the kind that will strip us of our freedoms, destroy our way of life, wreck the U.S. and world economies and turn this country into just another nation under the dictatorial control of a global governance. We are to become subjects, always at the mercy of the “leaders” because of one crisis or another…….always a crisis isn’t there. Do you see any pattern here at all?

Climategate is a great opportunity for those interested in finding the truth to do so. We can expose this scam for what it really is and slow down the systematic march into the hells of socialism. But are there enough of us who want to? We shall see.

I Vote Democrat Because?
Posted by

This turned up in my inbox this morning. I debated whether to share it on this blog or not. After getting caught up on all the latest news, I thought it just might be pertinent.

I Voted Democrat Because:

I voted Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want.

I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government’s taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.

I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would..

I voted Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I voted Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they’re doing because they now think we’re good people.

I voted Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.

I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius..

I voted Democrat because I’m not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as IT sees fit.

I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite The Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

I voted Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my ___ that it is unlikely that I’ll ever have another point of view.

While this random email is directed at Democrats, don’t think for a moment that Republicans and Independents don’t espouse to many of the same principles. Many of them are very open about where they stand on issues while others tend to hide it as best they can.

We will all go to the poles next November. We should all make sure that we know who we are voting for and why. Examine their voting records. That’s about the best way to learn how they really line up on issues and whether or not they are concerned about you and I, the voter, or more concerned about their job security in Washington.

UN IPCC’s Pachauri: “Virtually No Possibility” Climategate Fraud Will Have An Effect
Posted by

But don’t look too hard!

The UN’s climate body chairman, Rajendra Pachauri, says that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is so well structured and has such a great and widespread peer review process that any cheating by a handful of scientists won’t change the minds already made up that man is destroying the planet. How reassuring!

In the meantime, OOOOOOOPS! I think the Climate Research Unit and the University of East Anglia in Hadley, UK has dumped the data they used to support their claims on rising global temperatures. How convenient!

It seems they finally admitted it after repeated requests for that information so other parties could verify their data claims. I say again, OOOOOOOOPS! And yet the IPCC says their scientific process is so well put together with systematic peer review, etc. etc. etc.

Black Bear Blog readers have been busier than I have and posted some interesting links under the comment section of other blog posts. I decided to post them here where they might be better seen.
