Let’s hide this story in the back pages someplace in order that we can continue to repeat the mantra that wolves are harmless to people.
I would suppose to some, this means that these ignorant peasants, with no means of protecting themselves except with sticks and stones, just haven’t figured out how to live with the wolves. Maybe they haven’t gotten their government to buy them wolf-proof garbage cans. Not only that but shouldn’t their government pass a law banning sleeping outdoors?
My God! The poor wolf. Never got a fair trial!
