Nidal Hasan Was Part Of Obama’s Homeland Security Transition Task Force?

I respectfully request that you responsibly report on the ENTIRE story related to Nidal Hasan’s involvement in the GWU HSPI event. Anyone, even members of the general public, could have walked in off the street and participated in these events! GWU HSPI had no control over who the military (USUHS) sent to attend as observers of these events.

This “journalism” by innuendo is irresponsible and motivates ignorance. Did you even read the full report?

In his capacity as Disaster & Preventive Psychiatry Fellow at the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine, Nidal Hasan registered (RSVP’d) to attend as an audience member a number of Homeland Security Policy Institute (HSPI) events in the period June 2008 to February 2009. All of these events were open to the public.

The Presidential Transition Task Force Events were open to the public and invitations were shared with numerous government departments and agencies, including senior officials at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). These senior leaders at USUHS in turn shared the invitation with their subordinates, including Hasan.

At no time has Nidal Hasan been affiliated with HSPI or The George Washington University. He has never served as an HSPI Task Force Member, briefer, or featured speaker at an HSPI event.

HSPI’s Presidential Transition Task Force is not and was not affiliated with any Administration; and it was created prior to the election.

What I choose to link to is my business and I fail to see that providing readers with a link to read the same information as I did to draw their own conclusions is “irresponsible and motivates ignorance”. What I see as ignorance is a man, who we now discover had been “watched” by at least two different “security” agencies was allowed or sent to participate in GWU’s Homeland Security transition forum. What’s just as dumb is the GWU allowing anyone to walk in off the street to attend such meetings. This isn’t bridge club.

I know my readers. They have minds of their own and can think for themselves.

I fully understand your want to clear GWU of any affiliation with Nidal Hasan. I was very much aware when I chose the word “participant” to describe Hasan’s function at this meeting.

Perhaps my comment in the last sentence should have been more precisely directed toward those who picked Hasan to attend the meeting and to those who had information on his background and activities, yet chose to do nothing about it.

I won’t tell you how to better screen your participants to a Homeland Security transition meeting and you have no need to tell me how to responsibly report while providing your own innuendo about journalism.

Greg, it could happen practically overnight! And I was thinking of the same possibility…Just one nuke and all stops are off, and the radicals take charge, and just thank God it hasn’t happened already. Not only has our own intelligence worked to prevent this, but God’s hand is behind all the ways we’ve been able to prevent this from happening, and I believe it’s only because of the faithful following this country has had as it’s backbone for the last 200 years…But each generation shows more and more perversity, and less faith than the last…..and it’s only a matter of time before the balance beam begins to weigh the wrong way, and corruption is king, and Godless materialism takes charge…the end of our affluence is then very near.
These guys with Homeland security lose their first directive, and become bureaucratic inquisitors. And instead of patching the leaks, they become despots within their empires, always vigilant, and never seeing the problem within their own ranks…or the bigger picture with what this country is about: FREEDOM.

Maybe he means less of a journalist than one which is easily swayed by political power, rather than the truth….

I think with the negative connotations carried around these days by being labeled a “journalist”, I would prefer to be called a blogger. Besides, on occasion I do some “journalistic” work that involves a great deal of research, etc. but most readers know that the bulk of a blog is quick hitting stuff full of links etc.

Readers interested in reading beyond what I present have an opportunity or at least I try to give them that opportunity.

If the dork responsibly researched Islam in the first place he would find that the Papacy 1900 years ago created Islam to use it to kill Christians in Africa, and then as the bartering tool for the Papal eventual ownership of Jerusalem, which backfired in the Popers face and set off all those European Inquisitions.. It has taken Rome almost 2000 years to acquire Jerusalem, which they pulled off finally with the Oslo Accords..The infiltration of Muslims into America is INTENTIONAL in order to help bring forth the fascism they appear to be creating in this nation, it will serve their inquisition against their own creation as well accomplish the ruination of freedom in the Nation entirely.. Two birds with one stone, all so they have no opposition when the rebuilding of Solomons Temple shall not be interfered with, due to awakening and realization of what that implies by the masses in sleep walk mode, which this work has started, the Alter is being built now, and several interior items are being created and finalized as well, clothing for the Priests, musical instruments, etc. etc. The largest opposition to this is the Muslim community, WHY, well that Mosque on the Temple Mount must come down…. This is the bottom line to all this chaos going on around us, the Papacy is making sure they are not thwarted again in this quest..
