john holdrenThe Wall Street Journal is reporting that Barack Obama’s science adviser John Holdren recommends moving ahead with greenhouse gas emissions laws (meaning the support of man-caused global warming and the destruction of our economy) despite Climategate.

I’ve taken the liberty to doctor-up a photograph of Mr. Holdren, as I did with New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine, depicting him as blind. Rep. James Sensenbrenner, a Wisconsin Republican stated,

“We’re being asked as a Congress to make major changes in American society in energy use,” he said. “The scientists may be able to change their story and do more research, but once Congress passes a law, it will be as difficult to undo the consequences of that law as putting milk back in the cow.”

To put on blinders to the scandal that is unfolding before our very eyes is completely irresponsible and can only lead us to believe that Holdren is part of the conspiracy and fraud. For him to tell the American people not to pay any attention to what is being revealed in Climategate is just about as asinine as telling people not to pay any attention to what you’ve hearing about Bernie Madoff and go ahead and send me a few million dollars so I can invest it for you.

It also reeks of childish behavior and reminds me of an event that happened several years ago now but I still love to tell the story. I was visiting my brother one day and he was alone home with his son, who at the time was probably 4 years old. My brother was having difficulty getting his son to eat anything.

He told his son to sit up to the table and finish his lunch and he and I migrated into the living room to chat. Within a couple minutes his son entered the living room and exclaimed, “Dad! I’ve finished all my lunch……….. But don’t go look!”

This is as good as the lame pleading we hear that we should trust these guys that they know what they are doing and are telling the truth. Only a fool would do that and obviously we have our share of fools.

Obama prepares for a trip to Copenhagen, for the summit on climate change and what to do about it. Should he go there thinking the rest of world is going to pony up, especially after this fraud and conspiracy revelation, he’s dumber than I think. We’ve already seen legislation in Australia that died a quick death, mostly because of Climategate.

I think we are safe to take our time and get to the bottom of what’s really behind global warming research before we all are led off the cliff. If most of the globe is uninhabitable, as some climate religion leaders are proclaiming, it won’t be because ice melted and polar bears died.

For now, we’ll add Mr. Holdren to the group of blind mice.
