Funny how the term, nigger, has taken the classic “pejorative” turn..It once meant black, way back in the earliest usages, as in nigger-head, (for a black obstruction in the ocean) or as in nigger-toe, (the dark brown, black nuts) but now it has such “offensive” meaning, (if used by any white man) but no offense at all if used by blacks races…
The earliest usages go back to the latin “niger”, which in latin, is black…And back in my earlier years, all blacks were called niggers….That changed to “colored” in more polite company, in later years, and now, I have been informed, “colored” is in the same category as “nigger”….lol! As the world turns, it gets dumb and numb…
