or, shearing is more common.   for these ones, they look more like the same shearing but for finishing.  

if it&#039;s wool in this case, then the extra jaw inside the shears may be for bailing purposes and gathering the cords to tighten a bail. 

they are very usable;  easy to sharpen, and made by Forrest City.</description>
