Also some clubs put on coyote hunting contests and you can hunt them 24/7/ 365 and I can tell you that you would think it would thin them out some but in the last twenty years that I have actually been paying attention to the coyote population here I can't see much for results as far as thining them out. So unless Maine has a better idea of how to slow them down I don't see much chance for the deer up there..
