Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Commissioner Roland “Danny” Martin will conduct a public informational meeting on the northern Maine deer population and other wildlife-related issues on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Fort Kent Town Office.

State Sen. Troy Jackson, who asked Commissioner Martin to set up the public informational hearing, will be attending.

IF&W Regional Wildlife Biologist Richard Hoppe and other staff also will attend.

Lately a message came from CCP about introducing micropayements to Eve online. First thing that ought to be available for sale is skill remap.
Eve online is a very good MMO as it is. No server divisions, average of 35 thousand people online, hundreds of people clashing with each other in defense of theirs little space empires.
After hearing about this project I was disappointed. We already pay a monthly fee for being able to play this game. Now they try to give privileges for those who can spend additional euro for the game? A decent system already exists which allows those with spare money to legally purchase ISK eve currency. This system has been working fine for years now and is one of the best solutions implemented by CCP.
But micropayements are bad. By looking at all other MMOs that decided to introduce micropayements you will notice that all of those MMOs balance is now broken. at the begging there are little things but the demand for better and better items sooner or later spins the system out of balance.
Those with to much real cash get unfair advantage over players who cant afford to spend more than the monthly fee.
So CCP do not kill Eve. Rise the monthly fee if you need to but don’t break the fragile balance of New Eden.
