It looked like the camera was shut off before they were finished crossing the road. I wonder how much longer it went on?

I counted, not accurately, and got over 200. I sent the link to my cousin in Idaho and her reply was:
“It would have been fun to see that. One time when we were hiking we saw a herd running through just over the crest of a ridge from us. We could see the backs and heads about 20 yards away. Not near this many but a thrill anyway. Brant said he saw a herd of 70 elk cross the highway between Troy and Moscow on the way to work a few days ago.”
Moscow is in northern Idaho.

Do you know where this migration occurred? The date shown with little snow seems to preclude some areas.
